Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced QLD Preconstruction and Estimating leader to oversee our ECI and tender processes, manage key project stakeholders, and implement business strategies to secure work with targeted clients.

  • Lead the QLD Preconstruction and Estimating functions, including ECI and tender processes
  • Manage key project stakeholders, including clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • Develop and review submission material to ensure that project specific requirements/criteria have been met
  • Interpret, understand and execute head contracts - mitigating contractual risk
  • Contribute to strategic client engagement functions to establish/maintain relationships and secure new work

Key Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in estimating/preconstruction/ECI, cost planning, design and tender of fitout, refurbishment and construction/redevelopment projects
  • Deep understanding of ECI/D&C, cost planning and value engineering functions, as well as commercial contracts and risk mitigation strategies
  • A strong network of existing clients and industry contacts across SEQ

About This Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our QLD Preconstruction and Estimating functions. As part of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing ECI and tender processes, managing key project stakeholders, and implementing business strategies to secure work with targeted clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • Plan, coordinate and execute ECI and tender processes
  • Develop and review submission material to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure accurate interpretation and execution of head contracts
  • Contribute to strategic client engagement functions to establish/maintain relationships and secure new work
