Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Personal Care Specialists in a variety of settings, including community care, residential aged care facilities or hospital.

This position involves providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities, personal care and health monitoring.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
  • Support clients with mobility and transferring them safely.
  • Monitor clients' health status and report any changes.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in clients' living environments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for clients.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and certifications.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
