The Head of Technology - Integration role at Australia Post offers an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation, application, and support of Enterprise Integration Platforms. This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of integration technologies, including TIBCO, Kong, Confluent, Salesforce, Camunda, and emerging integration and orchestration technologies.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in enabling complex enterprise business transformations through technology while leading technology functions. Key responsibilities include holding end-to-end accountability for the Enterprise Integration Platforms, implementing, applying, and supporting new platforms and services, owning the purpose-built Event Management platform on Google Cloud and services, and planning and managing modern and heritage platforms in parallel to maintain business continuity.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to influence decisions and lead teams local to the organisation and through strategic partnerships. You'll also get to build relationships with Strategic Partners and Vendors.

We're looking for a motivated individual with extensive people leadership experience, particularly of technology personnel within large and complex organisations. The key internal stakeholders are largely from the Enterprise Services Leadership team including the CTO and fellow Heads of Technology.

Some of the key skills and qualifications required for this role include proven experience in enabling complex enterprise business transformations through technology, expert understanding of integration technologies, deep engineering knowledge of Google Cloud technology and services or any other major cloud platform, understanding of current and emerging integration products, background working with strategic partners for the provision of Delivery and AMS services, comfortable leading sourcing events for the provision of Services or Delivery work packages, and extensive experience in enabling large Technology programs of work.
