Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our kindergarten team in Sydney, NSW. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping children develop their potential from the upcoming academic fall semester.

Job Responsibilities

Classroom Management

You will be responsible for efficiently setting up and organizing the classroom each day, creating a secure and welcoming atmosphere. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to ensure the classroom and campus are orderly, clean, and visually pleasing.

Child Supervision and Care

You will supervise children's well-being and daily activities, including care routines, meal times, rest periods, and bedtime preparations.

Collaboration and Teamwork

You will aid the Lead Teacher in meeting goals related to student enrollment, school accreditation, and active participation. You will engage in respectful interactions with children and their parents, building strong connections with families, educators, regulatory bodies, local community members, and business affiliates.

Curriculum Implementation

You will execute the curriculum, customized to address the unique requirements of every child.

Professional Development

You will support the Lead Teacher in promoting interactive learning, engagement, and activities suitable for various ages.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in preschool/kindergarten early childhood education.
  • Experience with Montessori methodology.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, team orientation, and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
