Job DescriptionThis part-time Medical Coordinator position is available at the Rural Clinical School of WA, based in Derby. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class medical education and training to students.
You will work closely with local medical practitioners and agencies to maintain and contribute to the development of local educational programs that meet the requirements of the RCSWA.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registered or able to be registered with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Commitment to working in medical practice in rural WA
- Experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars
- A commitment to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas
This fixed-term appointment runs from May until October 2025, with a part-time commitment of 0.2 FTE. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of rural training pathways in your local area and participate in research and/or evaluation relevant to improving rural health.
