Job Summary:

Maintaining equipment and facilities is a crucial aspect of this role. We seek an individual who can drive operational excellence by assisting in the implementation of the engineering plan.

The successful candidate will support the Manufacturing Engineering Technicians Manager and 2IC in maintaining equipment and facilities, contribute to process development and improvement, and maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of the engineering plan to drive operational excellence
  • Support the maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and engineering principles with relevant tertiary education and/or experience
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment not essential but highly regarded
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and motivation
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team
  • Effective communication skills and good organizational skills
  • A high level of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Willingsness to adhere strictly to animal welfare guidelines and regulations
  • Physically fit and able to perform various tasks including climbing, lifting, and bending
