A leading name in the FMCG industry, renowned for their iconic brands and commitment to quality. With a strong presence in the market, they are seeking an experienced Senior eCommerce Manager to drive growth of their online presence across multiple channels.

As a newly created role, this position offers the opportunity to shape and accelerate their e-commerce strategy.

About the Role
This is a newly created role to accelerate the participation and growth of organisations' brands in online shopping e-commerce platforms across D2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels. The successful candidate will manage the D2C website, execute the corporate grocery online strategy, and contribute to the growth strategy of the business portal. This role will lead a team of two people and be responsible for a sizeable online marketing investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the e-commerce strategy.
  • Champion the online product plan to activate e-commerce channels, ensuring best practice standards for product content management.
  • Manage the merchandising and optimisation on Amazon and other retailers, including Grocery e-commerce and Quick Commerce platforms.
  • Oversee the management of the D2C site.
  • Project manage the build of new sites and define best practice guidelines.
  • Support the growth strategy for organisations' business portal (B2B).
  • Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports – an e-commerce analyst and a performance-based marketer.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in e-commerce, preferably within the grocery or consumer goods environment.
  • Experience leading a large revenue-driving B2B channel in excess of $5m.
  • Detailed understanding of commercial business drivers and metrics for assessing revenue, profit, and COGS.
  • Experience in using analytics for performance-based marketing and associated ROI improvements.
  • Hands-on experience managing and scaling e-commerce through third-party channel platforms.
  • Experience using the Citrus platform is highly desirable.
