About the Role:

SAL Consulting is seeking a Clinical Psychologist Intern to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, young people, and adults, with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of psychological theories and interventions, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
  • Provide therapy to clients, including individual and group sessions
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve client outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for AHPRA registration
  • Experience or interest in working with people with complex needs
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
