Job Description

Sporting a dual crown as Australia's oldest and most innovative dairy, we have an opportunity within our production department as a Dairy Food Supervisor.

We collect over 120 million litres of milk each year from more than 40 dairy farming families located in WA's pristine Southwest region. Our products are made in WA and we pride ourselves on being a leader in sustainability and our free school tours program sees thousands of school children learn about the benefits of dairy too.

Our diverse portfolio of award-winning fresh dairy products includes milk, cream, sour cream, yoghurt, flavoured milk, cold brew drinks, cheese, juice and desserts. We remain at the forefront of innovation in our industry, committed to product, packaging, and brand innovation, meeting our critical responsibilities to the environment and sustainability head-on.

The Role
  • As a Supervisor in our Dairy Food Plant, you will lead and direct shift activities within the Balcatta production facility working a mix of days and afternoon shifts ensuring production and products are made within specification in a safe, efficient manner utilising optimal levels of human resource and materials and orders produced in full and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise lean manufacturing principles actively focusing on plant operation to meet or exceed line efficiency and performance targets.
  • Promote and support all continuous improvement programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food and weights & measures standards.
  • Perform work in accordance with relevant quality and environmental measurements, (e.g., ISO 9000, QMS, Food Safety Systems (HACCP), RMA).
  • Implement the Company's Quality programme to meet legislative, industry, and best practice standards.
  • Meet or better key areas by regular monitoring, taking concise and timely action to keep within defined targets.
  • Set clear expectations for your team, providing appropriate resources to get the job done, monitor progress, and take remedial action when required.
  • Implement revised job level systems to better reflect the required competencies required to operate equipment.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment.
