Clinical Neuropsychologist

The role requires an experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to provide inpatient neuropsychological assessments and interventions, individual and group therapy for clients with various conditions.

Services include provision of evidence-based treatment therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and EMDR.

A supportive environment, on-site professional development opportunities, and allocated allowances for preferred Professional Development are offered.

This part-time or casual fixed-term 3-month role (0.4 to 0.6 EFT) is available at a leading mental health service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of inpatient neuropsychological assessments and interventions
  • Individual and group therapy for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, substance use, and cognitive changes in older adults
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintenance of accurate records and reports

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant degree and registration as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Suitable candidates will have strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience working with diverse client groups.
