Job Title:

A high-performing Market Rates leader is required to spearhead the growth of our Sydney-based team.

Reporting to the Markets leadership team, you will be responsible for managing Interest Rate Risk Management (IRRM) dealer relationships with Business Bank and Specialised customers across Sydney Metro. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through innovative marketing methods, delivering solutions that maximise customer satisfaction and idea generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Bank customers to manage their Interest Rate risks
  • Promote the growth of client franchise through effective marketing methods
  • Ensure key stakeholders are aware of our Interest Rate capability, research, platform and offering
  • Assist customers & bankers to execute IRRM transactions, both standalone and embedded derivatives
  • Build on existing IRRM relationships by developing a deep understanding of a client's business model & IRRM risks

Requirements:

  • Experience in Markets or client-facing roles
  • Accreditation from Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA)
  • Tertiary Education/qualification in finance/business related discipline or similar
  • Accreditation from Financial Association of Regulatory Risks desired but not essential
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, client management and sales skills coupled with impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
