Boilermaker Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker Specialist to join our team at Bradken, a leading solutions provider and global manufacturer of innovative, custom-engineered products for the resources sector. As a Boilermaker Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining operational efficiency and longevity of the products we manufacture.

About the Role:

• Perform fabrication duties and welding techniques, including GMAW and FCAW.
• Pass AS1554.1 weld tests.
• Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure measurements and components meet required tolerances.
• Undertake materials handling and processing tasks, focusing on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Continuous Improvement, Delivery, and Environmental concerns.
• Participate in site and training service provider learning, training, and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and Bradken Quality policies and procedures.
• Assist and work with maintenance and engineering personnel as needed.
• Cochae and mentor apprentices and junior personnel as required.

About You:

• You will have the enthusiasm and self-drive to work to the highest standard.
• You will champion safety, mentor less experienced staff, and help deliver great results.
• You will have formal trade qualifications, 3 years' experience in a mechanical trade, knowledge of safe working procedures, sound numeric reasoning, and the ability to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques is desirable.
