About the Role

Ventia is seeking a skilled and experienced Distribution Linesperson to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing construction and maintenance tasks on distribution powerline networks, including overhead lines. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work throughout Central and other Regional areas of Queensland
  • Safely perform Construction and Maintenance tasks on Distribution Powerline Networks – Overhead Lines
  • Ability to work in teams and provide quality workmanship
  • Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations.
Requirements
  • Current QLD Electrical Trade Qualification (Distribution Linesman OR Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
  • Current QLD Driver's Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • High Risk Work Licence to operate an EWP (greater than 11m)
