**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time Security Officer to join our team at one of our major retail centres in Penrith. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and responding to emergency situations in a professional and efficient manner.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing high-level security and customer service duties
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises
  • Responding to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance
  • Assessing and responding to situations of risk
  • Access control and incident report writing

**Rostered Hours**

The successful candidate will work a set roster of 3 days per week with the ability to pick up additional shifts. The roster includes:

  • Thursdays: 10:00 - 20:30
  • Fridays: 09:00 - 21:00
  • Saturdays: 12:00 - 22:30

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Security License
  • A Control Room License (highly regarded)
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • Impeccable presentation and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters and willingness to work nights/weekends
