This role offers a challenging opportunity to provide expert technical support for the Mako robotic system in orthopaedic surgeries.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with surgeons and theatre staff to optimise patient outcomes and ensure seamless execution of procedures.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing real-time guidance during procedures and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the platform.
- Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements.
- Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in using the Mako system.
- Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites, working closely with local teams to ensure successful implementations.
Requirements:
- A strong clinical background, preferably in orthopaedics or a related field.
- Excellent technical skills, with experience in software and medical technology.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, think critically, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with surgeons, hospital staff, and other stakeholders.
