We are seeking a talented and innovative Culinary Professional to join our team in the preparation of high-quality menu items.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Commis Chef to showcase their culinary expertise and contribute to the success of our kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and have industry experience in high-volume kitchen environments. Strong food safety knowledge, customer service skills, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and quality standards.
- Ensure food safety procedures are implemented and maintained throughout the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by catering to guest special requests and dietary needs.
- Mentor and motivate Apprentice Chefs to achieve a high standard of service.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Industry experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and Food Safety program.
- Able to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
