At Uniting, we're committed to making a positive impact in our community. We're seeking a skilled Tradesperson/Handyman to join our Home Maintenance & Modification Service team in Sydney Central.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality minor home maintenance and modification works for our community clients. This will involve recognizing and completing tasks within program guidelines and client preferences, adhering to legislative requirements, and preparing quotes for maintenance and modification services.

We're looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional results.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A licence in Specialist or Trade work (as defined by NSW Fair Trading) and/or a Certificate in Building, Construction, or Horticulture area or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate competing workloads and tasks.
• Demonstrated understanding of WHS principles and risk management practices.
• Experience using power tools and a wide range of skills in home maintenance and construction.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with a box trailer.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• Proficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office, client/data management systems, and a willingness to learn new programs.
• Current First Aid or willingness to obtain.
