About the Role

In this pivotal position as a Group Planning Director at EssenceMediacom, you will be the mastermind behind crafting innovative media strategies that drive business growth for our esteemed clients. Working closely with our strategy team, you will engage with the business leadership team to deliver on client objectives and collaborate with marketplace counterparts to execute your ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop breakthrough strategies across a range of clients, leveraging your expertise in media channels, data analysis, and audience planning.
  • Work with implementation teams to translate strategies into actionable plans for brands, ensuring delivery of a digital solution that meets client needs.
  • Build key relationships with client stakeholders in marketing, planning, and strategy, and share thought leadership on media planning effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong base of knowledge across all media channels, including paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Comfortable working with data, pulling actionable insights, and translating them into planning lead implications and optimizations.
  • In-depth understanding of the latest research on media effectiveness and how media drives growth.
  • Experience in audience and signal planning, understanding how to build audiences and translate them into segments for activation.
  • Competency working across planning tools, including audience planning, allocation, and optimization.
