We are seeking a volunteer to provide companionship and support to an elderly gentleman living at home in South West Sydney.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and enjoy building relationships with older adults.
About the Role- Visit an elderly gentleman living at home for 30 minutes to 1 hour, weekly or fortnightly, between 9am and 5pm
- Engage in conversation, go for walks, and participate in activities of interest such as watching NRL matches
- Build a positive relationship with the individual and provide emotional support
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in someone's life while gaining valuable experience and skills.
What We're Looking For- 18 years or older
- Able to commit to regular visits
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the individual's needs
