Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable solutions in complex environments. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise and a security-first mindset.

About the Role
  • Architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions to meet organisational technical and business requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize AWS services for cost performance, security and reliability; while adhering to best practice and compliance standards
  • Coordinating with senior leadership
  • Working collaboratively with product owners and developers to identify, test and assess security controls in alignment with the PSPF, ISM, E8 and organisational policy.
  • Contributing to implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms
  • Using and implementing products relating to Azure Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Domain Services.
  • Implementing solutions and tools as Proof of Concepts (PoCs) so they can be evaluated for use prior to use in the TS Cloud. This may include replicating production environments to enable PoCs and testing.
  • Working with agencies to understand their current state architectures and make consideration for these in the architectural design. Ensuring relevant policies and standards are addressed, and plan and design for emerging technologies (such as Zero Trust Architecture).
  • Working closely with industry cloud providers to architect feasible and viable solution architectures.
