We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team at Hume City Council. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting swimming classes in a safe and efficient manner, providing high-quality instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct swimming classes in accordance with the Centre Operation Plan and Program Area Operations Manuals.
- Supervise students during classes and ensure their safety at all times.
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the swimming program.
- Current Austswim Certificate.
- Previous experience in teaching swimming to children and adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to swim.
