Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Installation and Support Specialist to join our team in Australia. This 24-month fixed term role will involve providing technical support for ongoing production and sample preparation, implementing machine upgrades and change orders, monitoring machine performance, and liaising between the manufacture and Orora.

The successful candidate will be responsible for training machine operators and maintenance staff, implementing machine upgrades and change orders, and maintaining spare parts stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides on-site technical support to ensure seamless production operations
  • Liaises with the manufacturer to resolve technical issues and implement changes
  • Trains machine operators and maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain the equipment
  • Implements machine upgrades and change orders to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Supports ongoing production and sample preparation activities
  • Maintains accurate records of machine performance and troubleshoots any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or relevant technical studies
  • Proven experience in machine servicing and installation
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with digital printing, semi-conductor, flat panel displays, or other relevant capital equipment qualification is an advantage

Salary:

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience
