Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical and Piping Engineer to support key upgrades and maintenance projects across Victorian assets.

You will oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including engineering assessments, scope development, shutdown support, and asset integrity planning for fixed equipment and rotating machinery.

This role involves leading mechanical scopes for projects across fixed and rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (API, ASME), and performing failure investigations to develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical specifications and contribute to procurement decisions
  • Manage contractor deliverables and contribute to project risk assessments
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and performance expectations
About You
  • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years' experience in oil and gas or similar industry
  • RPEV registered (Mechanical)
  • Strong knowledge of pressure equipment, piping systems, and rotating machinery
  • Familiar with API, ASME, and Australian standards
