Overview

This role requires a seasoned professional to manage procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that involves direct engagement with suppliers, contract management, on-the-floor supply issue resolution, and production team support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of procurement including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management for marine and manufacturing materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts and components to multiple production lines, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations across facilities, ensuring minimal delays and accurate stock levels.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to anticipate material needs and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Implement process improvements in procurement and logistics to support efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly KPI reports highlighting risks, savings, and supply chain performance.
  • Drive transparency and best practices throughout the end-to-end supply chain.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in manufacturing procurement.
  • Proven track record in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and resolving delivery issues in high-volume production environments.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Effective leadership skills with ability to coach and guide teams while engaging in daily operations.
  • Commercial acumen, pragmatism, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Passion for marine manufacturing and delivering high-quality products.
  • Williness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
