Job Overview

This permanent part-time position is based at the Wesley Icon Cancer Centre in Auchenflower, where you will be working closely with our dedicated team to provide high-quality nursing support for our oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding cancer care to patients and their families
  • Lead the management and coordination of chemotherapy and supportive care treatments in a busy day hospital environment
  • Support the development of less experienced nursing staff and provide leadership to the nursing team
  • Promote clinical excellence with an emphasis on safe and high-quality nursing practice

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to drive continuous quality improvement and implement new systems and therapies.

Requirements
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Post-graduate oncology nursing qualification desirable
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Oncology Nursing
  • Chemotherapy competent with advanced level clinical knowledge and skills in managing haematology and oncology patients
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
