Career Opportunity: Course Writer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Course Writer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing learning and assessment materials for the Certificate III in Individualised Support, Certificate IV in Disability Support and Certificate IV in Ageing Support.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating engaging and effective educational content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to develop high-quality learning materials.
  • Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Develop and review core learning and assessment materials, including written workbooks and facilitator guides.
  • Proofread all workbooks and other materials for formatting, educational and grammatical correctness.
  • Write and update mapping guides as required.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in aged care, disability support or a related field such as community services or nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an aged care, disability support or home/community care context.
  • Experience in course development, preferably in the Vocational Education Sector.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
