Flight Attendant Role

Rex Airlines operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft to 54 destinations across regional Australia.

This role involves providing a warm and genuine inflight service, winning the Apex Award for Best Cabin Service in the South Pacific. Our team is dedicated to making Rex stand out in the competitive aviation market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
  • Providing a caring and personalised service while travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.

The role offers a great work/life balance along with competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.

Requirements:
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Be no taller than 173 cm.
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Demonstrate at least 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or equivalent experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) involving a police security check.
  • Holding a high level of personal presentation and natural willingness to please and care for people.

Extensive training will be provided; flying experience is not required.
