About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Gyprock Trade Centre team as a Trade Counter Sales and Warehouse Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers in-store and in the warehouse, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform stock movements, and ensure the warehouse is organized and tidy.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load trucks with customer orders for distribution and unload inbound orders of stock, adhering to safety requirements.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform warehouse tasks, including picking orders, inventory counts, and general housekeeping.
  • Documentation and Presentation: Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and presentation of products.
Requirements
  • Forklift Licence: Possess a valid forklift licence to perform duties within the warehouse.
  • Availability: Be available to work Saturday shifts at other GTC sites when required.
  • Hours: Work Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 15:30pm, with overtime paid for hours outside of this schedule.
