Urban Forest Inspector

About the Role:

This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of urban forests to determine tree specifications. The Urban Forest Inspector will rotate throughout the day, performing tasks such as:

  • Managing compliance with regulations and policies
  • Auditing trees to ensure they meet required standards
  • Assessing pest and disease issues to prevent their spread
  • Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and arboriculture principles, as well as industry knowledge of local tree species, tree maintenance, and removal.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
