Business Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Professional to drive our growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in generating leads, creating opportunities, and becoming a market expert.

About the Role:

The Business Development Professional will work closely with our sales team to transition generated leads into the pipeline for closing. They will also be responsible for maintaining an organized pipeline of potential clients and following up diligently to keep leads warm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Sales Efforts: Work closely with the sales team to generate leads and create opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update an organized pipeline of potential clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target markets.

About You:

  • Sales Expertise: A self-starter with a proven track record of finding and creating sales opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Market Knowledge: Experience in local government sectors is a plus, but a quick learner with a passion for these areas is essential.
  • Goal-Oriented: A relentless focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to achieve common goals.
