About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inventory management and distribution tasks, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with warehouse maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning and organization
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Understanding of inventory management and distribution principles
  • Forklift license required (or ability to obtain)
  • Driver's license required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
