The Role

This key position reports directly to the CEO and focuses on developing and executing strategies to drive profitable growth and category diversification across key retailers, including Woolworths and Aldi. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with buying, supply, and product development teams to deliver exceptional service and support commercial objectives.
  • Developing and executing sales plans aligned with business strategies to achieve profitable growth and category expansion.
  • Managing key categories and day-to-day activities within Woolworths and Aldi, encompassing spreads, nutritional snacks, pet, and health food categories.
  • Ensuring positive commercial outcomes through effective management of promotional mechanics and profit-and-loss statements.
  • Identifying new revenue opportunities and developing innovative solutions to drive growth.
  • Collaborating with National Account Executive to manage retailer product data, NPD management, and promotional programs.
  • Analyzing scan performance (IRI/Quantium) and broader market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts, supply planning, and DIFOT to ensure optimal resource allocation and production planning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive demonstrated experience in FMCG, preferably with Woolworths or Coles.
  • High-level competency in Excel (medium/advanced), PowerPoint, and project management.
  • A proven track record in sales, with a deep understanding of strategic approaches to long-term objectives and commercial returns from partnering.
  • Results-driven, possessing a history of delivering against targets and negotiating large contracts.
  • Expertise in working with IRI and Quantium data tools, as well as financial P&L modelling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset and ability to provide exceptional service.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary package, estimated at around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also provides opportunities for professional growth, collaboration with a talented team, and a comprehensive benefits program.
