As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering client-centered care to adults and children with disabilities, working closely with families and key stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the needs of clients with diverse abilities and disabilities.
- Prescribe and provide equipment and home modifications to support client independence and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with support workers, families, and schools to ensure seamless delivery of occupational therapy services.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including NDIS, private, and aged care clients, and provide regular outreach services to remote communities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including support workers, families, and schools, to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a remote or rural setting.
- Current AHPRA registration and National Police Clearance.
- Current Australian Driver's License and willingness to travel to remote communities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
