We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Accounting Specialist to join our Melbourne office.

About the Role

As an Executive Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients across various industries. You will work closely with our Business Advisory team to prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and other compliance documents. Your excellent communication skills and technical knowledge will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients and provide them with expert advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in preparing income tax returns, business activity statements, and other compliance documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting or a related field.
  • A Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, and Cashbook software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
