We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at the airport.

  • As a key member of the kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing dishes with precision and maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Key responsibilities include food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet service, as well as maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Additionally, you will ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage by implementing and maintaining stock control procedures.
  • Other key responsibilities include ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy, and that equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience working in a busy kitchen and exposure to an a la carte dining experience.
  • A tertiary culinary qualification is highly desirable.
  • Full working rights within Australia are required for this permanent role.
  • Own transport and a valid driver's license would be advantageous.
