Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. Our care assistants play a vital role in supporting older Australians and people living with a disability, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

About the Role:
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Transport clients to appointments or community activities
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (in line with government requirements)
  • Australian Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others
