The role of an Early Childhood Coordinator involves working with children and their families to provide early intervention support.

This includes assessing a child's developmental needs, implementing tailored strategies, and communicating effectively with the family.

You will work closely with allied health professionals to interpret reports and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Liaising with community groups and overcoming language barriers is also an essential aspect of this role.

Key skills and qualifications include a diploma in Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, or Allied Health Professions, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A capacity-building approach to supporting families and evidence-based early childhood intervention strategies are also highly valued.

  • This is a temporary full-time role based out of our North Sydney office, covering the local region.
  • Travel is involved to meet the child and families/carers in their community and home environment.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma: In Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Allied Health Professions, or other relevant professional fields.
  • Report Writing and IT Skills: Proficient computer use is essential.
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Experience providing support to families using a family-focused and strengths-based approach.
