The Strategic Sourcing Lead is a key role in driving enterprise-wide strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the Director, Strategic Sourcing, in managing contract and price negotiations with vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic sourcing objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including research, RFI/RFP development, and vendor meetings.
- Conduct financial analysis of bids and awarded contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team members and business partners.
- Represent the organization in sourcing events and contracts.
- Provide mentorship and training for analysts.
- Assign and prioritize work.
- Review and approve low-spend/low-risk contracts.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of driving cost savings and efficiency improvements.
