Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator

  • Support enterprise high-availability Microsoft SQL implementations.\
  • Design and implement databases for optimum performance.\
  • Monitor database performance and optimise queries to ensure efficient query processes.\
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with Australian standards.\
  • Support application teams for database-related incidents and requests.\
  • Work within an ITIL framework for all work-related activities, including change, incident, and problem management.\
  • Identify improvement opportunities and champion change on behalf of the team.\
  • Escalate complex issues on behalf of the team.\
  • A high level of proficiency as a DBA managing Enterprise Microsoft SQL Server is essential. This includes knowledge of the SQL Server Database engine, experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery scenarios, and experience undertaking backup and data recovery processes.\
