Job Title: Insider Threat Analyst

Description:

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Insider Threat Analyst to join its Global Information Security team. As an Insider Threat Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential insider threats to our organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into insider threat incidents using various techniques and tools;
  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify potential security risks;
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent future insider threats;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive incident response and risk management;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in information security to enhance our defenses;
  • Document all findings and recommendations in detailed reports;
  • Present investigation results and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders;
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay current on best practices in information security.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on insider threat analysis and mitigation;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with Splunk, ENCASE, CrowdStrike, and other similar investigative and/or monitoring tools;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience;
  • CISSP, CEH, or other relevant certifications a plus.
