This position plays a vital role in the City's success by offering technical and project management assistance to the Program Leader of Stormwater Assets. It involves overseeing the city's stormwater assets, capital works, and maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the assets team to create long-term capital works programs for stormwater and urban waterway infrastructure.
- Assist the Program Leader of Stormwater Assets in maintaining the City of Hobart's stormwater assets, including the pit and pipe network.
- Develop and oversee asset maintenance programs, focusing on water-sensitive urban design and water quality improvement assets.
- Manage consultants and contractors effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or environmental) or a related field, or equivalent project management experience in the civil or plumbing sectors.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
