Production Planner and Inventory Controller

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Raise process orders for all MTO orders in the region.
  2. Develop production plans and schedules to meet service requirements, aligned with sales and operations planning and customer lead times.
  3. Understand plant production constraints to optimise schedules, including clean-downs and compatibility of colours and technologies.
  4. Communicate and resolve supply issues with raw materials and packaging affecting schedules.
  5. Complete relevant paperwork and update the ERP system.
  6. Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement and delivery of raw materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical or supply chain-related field.
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing supply chain, including planning and purchasing.
  • Ability to apply continuous process improvement tools.
  • Data analysis skills for future production planning.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
