Job Title: Event Technician

The Playford Civic Centre is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Event Technician to join our team. As a key member of the venue's operations, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events and performances across various spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver audio-visual and technical support for live performances, events, and venue hire activities;
  • Contribute to setup, pack down, and smooth technical delivery of lighting, sound, vision, and staging services;
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of commercial and community hirers;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong working knowledge of lighting, sound, and AV systems. You should be able to adapt to the needs of different users and events, operating confidently both independently and as part of a team. A tertiary qualification in lighting, sound, or visual effects is highly desirable, but equivalent experience is also acceptable. Additionally, you will need to hold an Elevated Work Platform Certification and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
