Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Radiography professional to join our team as the Chief Radiographer.

About the Role:
  • Reporting to the Regional Services Manager for our hospital site at South West Health Campus
  • Acting as the deputy to the Regional Services Manager
  • Maintaining a high-quality medical imaging service to patients and referrers
  • Coordinating operational activities of Medical Imaging Technologists, Clinical Assistants, and Patient Care Assistant teams
  • Developing rosters for clinical staff
  • Ensuring safe use of equipment
  • Liaising with Radiologists, modality supervisors, and staff
About You:
  • 10+ years' experience working in a radiology practice with day-to-day operations of a specialist area
  • Proven leadership ability and proficiency in supervising staff
  • Demonstrated training and teaching abilities
  • High-level competence in General X-ray, DEXA, CT, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, and Mammography
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with RIS/PACS
  • Patient-focused approach with empathy and interest in patient needs
