Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive manufacturing performance by ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and cost standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through training and development.
  • Establish effective communication mechanisms with site support functions.
  • Sustain OH&S, Hygiene, and Environmental programs in the manufacturing function.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement plans, ensuring RCA process followed for downtime and corrective actions taken.
  • Develop a culture that supports a safe workplace and prevents injuries.
  • Ensure reporting and management of safety, behavioural, and quality incidents according to policies.
  • Manage Quality systems to eliminate external product failures and reduce internal quality costs.
  • Reduce Overhead costs (R&M, Energy, Water) to meet Site Planned costs, including direct labour plans.
  • Support implementation of plans to minimise process waste through accurate recording and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years' experience in manufacturing.
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience.
  • Related industry experience within baking desirable.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with diverse people.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual.
  • Maintain accountability & responsibility within self & team.
  • Knowledge in lean manufacturing.
  • Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, experience.
  • People Management and Leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance and HSE knowledge.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office, SAP experience.
  • Logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Planning and organising experience.
