We are seeking a skilled Powerline Worker to join our Assets and Operations team at Essential Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, connection, maintenance, and repair of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) distribution network assets and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, connect, maintain, and repair HV and LV distribution network assets and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and customers to achieve project goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Work effectively during times of unplanned events and contribute to the resolution of issues.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems with electives in Distribution Overhead, a valid Driver's Licence, and a WorkCover NSW Construction induction Certificate. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and have basic computer skills appropriate for the role.
