We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist Lead to join our Asset Management, Group Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading asset and network related incident investigations, guiding the identification of root causes and recommending preventative actions for improvements across the AusNet network.
The role will also involve implementing improvement initiatives across the AusNet network, conducting reliability modelling, root cause analysis, and facilitating Reliability Modelling and Root Cause Analysis activities with subject matter experts.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with multiple business units, dealing with technical issues that have broad implications and driving process improvement initiatives across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships and clear modes of communication with relevant stakeholders and business clients (internal), acting as trusted and commercially savvy technical advisor.
- Reporting internally on investigation outcomes and performance leveraging communication skills to deliver reporting in clear and easily understandable ways varied according to audiences' technical understanding.
- Performing data and system analysis to identify repeat trends and share insights and learnings with Network teams and Strategic Asset Management Committee.
