Teaching Role Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic educator to join our teaching team. As a senior school teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging curriculum that inspires and challenges students to improve their skills and understanding of physical education.

The role involves designing, developing, and delivering curriculum that is challenging, educational, inclusive, enjoyable, and encourages optimal outcomes. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational excellence and contribute to the development of our vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver engaging curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners
  • Design and implement effective teaching and learning programs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications and registrations as a teacher
  • A passion for and demonstrated curriculum knowledge of applicable subject areas
  • Demonstrated effective delivery of teaching and learning programs
  • A commitment to professional development
  • Excellent personal communication, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety, demonstrating an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children, including children with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Strong skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), especially as they relate to teaching and learning
