We are seeking an energetic and dynamic graduate to join our team as a GIS Graduate - Spatial Data Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced professionals and learn promising career opportunities along the way.

You will also learn how to manage databases and utilize GIS mapping and data analysis for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field data collection and quality inspections based on project description, instruction, and work instruction provided from the project/operations manager
  • Ensure that data collection tools (software, hardware, vehicles) are in current and proper working order
  • Process and deliver data collected and use data collection maintenance tools whilst also ensuring that the digital map databases are accurate
  • Utilize technical skills to operate various GIS software and analyze information

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide high-quality results while demonstrating full responsibility with GIS processing and methodologies
  • An effective team player who understands instructions clearly

Salary Estimate: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum depending on experience
