Job Overview

The Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking a proactive Maintenance Officer to join their team at Alamanda Palm Cove.

This part-time / casual role involves maintaining the resort's property and ensuring it remains in perfect condition. If you are skilled in general repairs, enjoy fixing things, and take pride in presentation, we encourage you to apply.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an effective preventative maintenance program across all areas of the property
  • BUILD strong relationships with internal teams, guests, and Body Corporate stakeholders
  • Establish cost control measures and manage stock and contractor purchasing effectively
  • Supervise a small team and coordinate external contractors as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is safe, presentable, and fully operational
  • Support and uphold company systems, standards, and procedures

About You
  • A positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in general repairs – lighting, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Experience in coordinating trades/contractors for efficient results
  • Trade qualification or similar background highly regarded
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and WHS best practice desirable
  • Hotel or resort maintenance experience preferred
  • Comfortable using basic Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills and genuine focus on guest satisfaction
